Canterbury Photographic Society
"I have had an interest in photography for very many years but it is only now, having recently retired, that I have been able to devote more – and much needed! – time to improving my skills and knowledge. As part of this, I joined Canterbury Photographic Society (CPS) in 2015 having been greatly impressed when I went along to the CPS Annual Exhibition in the Spring of that year. The members of CPS are friendly and always willing to offer helpful advice whilst the regular club competitions provide a great opportunity not only to test and develop one’s own skills but also to pick up tips and new topic ideas for your own photography. My current interests predominantly lie in capturing images of wildlife, flowers and the landscape but I am looking forward to exploring new subjects in the future."
